What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is a creative media agency called Your Purpose Agency. Your Purpose Agency is a creative company that specializes in digital media. Our team is filled with brilliant content creators, social media strategists, photographers, and videographers from Canada and other parts of the world. We work with many entrepreneurs in different industries. Our mission is to help make clear your aspiration, purpose, and ambition through visuals.
Tell us about yourself
I have also been a serial entrepreneur with a passion for innovation. I am very passionate about self-development and determined to grow in every aspect of my life. I get motivated by my client's purpose and goals. I work with many passionate and inspirational people! I love the entrepreneurship lifestyle, so I am very gifted at connecting with clients who are building their dreams.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I created a business where I can work remotely and make this career as a digital nomad. I can operate my business from across the world and have an amazing team to do it with.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I would say balancing life while owning a business was very hard for me as a business owner. Sometimes we get too focused on working on our business that we forget to focus on working on our business. This year, I had the privilege of hiring great people to be on our team this year which has given me the time to work on my business. This is important for every business owner because this will help the business grow.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
My top 3 tips are to get clarity on what it is you're passionate about because you will love what you do every day, even on hard days.
Second tip: Explore many areas to start and run your business. There is not only one way; there are many ways to get to where you need to get to. Be open to exploring new strategies.
Third tip: There is a solution to every problem. Always remember this! It is hard when you run into problems within the beginning stages of the stress of running a business, but with every step back, there's always a lesson to be learned. Focus on being better each day for you!
