What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help people to see and access their own uniqueness and radiance with my energetic yoga portraiture. My clients come from all walks of life and are yoga practitioners of various abilities. I have worked with high-level athletes and those with disabilities … everyone is radiant, and my portraits capture that radiance on the mat.
Tell us about yourself
As with most people, my past was riddled with trauma which led to addiction and depression later in life. A key part of my healing process has been to accept that I am a whole and radiant soul despite what happened to me. Portraiture and art (as well as yoga and a tonne of therapy) were paramount to my healing. I now try to bring that feeling to others who might need to view themselves from a different perspective to see how incredible they really are! Not only from the physical but also from their energetic body and unique, incredible personalities!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Making portraits for some of the most well-known and influential personalities in yoga! I have made these for so many wonderful people in this space, and I intend to keep making them for anyone who feels like propelling their view of themselves into the stratosphere!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Staying true to what you believe! There are so many courses and ‘strategies’ that claim to be able to 10x your sales or ‘explode your marketing’ but actually, what I have found to be the most effective is standing in the truth of what you wish to give to others. How does what you do impact others? How can it help? People love transformation and will resonate with the truth! Stick to your truth and keep going!
