Living in Infinite Wellness - Yoga And Ayurveda Living
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Diana Bellofatto, Owner of Yoga And Ayurveda Living, located in Healdsburg, CA, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is https://yogaandayurvedaliving.com/
I offer yoga, Ayurvedic Consulting, Conventional & Ayurvedic Culinary Services, Hybrid Personal Assisting, and Quantum Transformation-a transformational online program for your unique needs.
I also contribute articles to the blog for The Art of Living Retreat Center. My customers are people who know the importance of being active participants in their self-care and value having someone in their lives who can anticipate their needs and enhance the quality of their lives.
Tell us about yourself
When I was phasing out of being a butcher for seven years, a friend suggested I become a yoga teacher. I loved the idea of learning about such a vast science and completed my first yoga teaching certification in 2001. From there, I heard the word "Ayurveda". I had, and continue to have, a voracious appetite for learning about Ayurveda and went on to complete certification as an Ayurvedic Consultant.
What motivates me each day to do what I do, is seeing how the wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda is exemplified in everyday interactions with people and in nature. To this day, I am enthralled with the brilliance of yoga and Ayurveda.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is being able to transmit the teachings of yoga and Ayurveda to others and see how it benefits their well-being, and able to offer a wide variety of services to people. My clients are able to shop for their needs "all under one roof."
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is connecting with people who understand that true transformation takes time, and active participation in your own self-care 30-day challenge can produce temporary change, but the lasting transformation will take a bit longer and is well worth it!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- I really love what you do because if you don't, you may not have the drive and endurance to do what it takes for your business to thrive.
- There are so many facets to the day-to-day operations of running your own business. By trying to do it all, you risk diluting your attention and energy, thereby producing an inferior product or service. Know when it would serve you best to make use of resources from professionals who could offer services that would be supportive to you.
- Be balanced in your approach, avoid jeopardizing your health by burning out, and remember to hike your own hike! (Don't be put off by those who project their negative experiences and fears onto you.)
