Tell us about yourself
Hey everyone, my name is Dayna, but you can call me YaadiGurl.
YaadiGurl Flava was developed out of grief. After losing my mom and then experiencing three pregnancy losses, I needed an outlet, and cooking became it. It developed into something more than just an outlet, and I can see God turning pain into a calling.
I have become His poetry, His artistry, His workmanship, a re-created daughter that will fulfill the destiny He has given me, for I am joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before I was born, God planned in advance my destiny and the good works I would do to fulfill it. Ephesians 2:10
So, as my own private entity, I can be hired to cater family meals, intimate events, and teaching sessions both one on one and in a group. I pool my resources to create awesome meals for small size private events and small size corporate events. Call today to see what I can do for you.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
One of my biggest accomplishments as a business owner is taking further steps to protect my business, so I can leave a legacy for those coming to be me.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
It has not been an easy road. Some of the struggles I have faced along the way is not focusing on culture but being kingdom-minded. Getting started fund-wise and building up a continuous recurring client/customer list. Also, getting my name out there since I am not originally from the state of Georgia.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Consistency. Consistency. Consistency, even when it looks like it is not working out, keeps going. At the end, when everything is said and done, you will see the reward and reap the harvest. Keep sowing those seeds.
Ecclesiastes 11:6.
Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well. Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
