What's your business, and who are your customers?
My Business partners and I own Forbes Accredited Marketing Agency, Y Not You Media. We work with companies and brands nationwide; we offer digital marketing services through social media so our customers can scale their businesses and or brands. We have had the opportunity to work with companies and individuals in a multitude of industries, from Real Estate, Mortgages, Food, and Beverage, Jewelry, and E-Commerce. We have an amazing team of individuals who all thrive on helping our customers to their fullest potential.
Tell us about yourself
My business started by rekindling a friendship with one of my high school classmates, Tony Pec, and one of his best friends Michael Capozzi. We came together with the goal of assisting business owners in scaling their businesses with the use of digital marketing through social media. My love for marketing and content creation started in college but took to new heights when I became a stuntman for television and movies. Being a stuntman allowed me to truly love the art of creating from being on camera, behind the camera, and developing fight choreography. I've been able to carry that love of creativity over to our business by helping our clients develop marketing campaigns around their business or brand. I am extremely passionate about what I do, and what motivates me each day is that I have the opportunity to help someone take their business and brand to the next level.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is nothing monetary or an accolade; it's actually having the ability to wake up each day doing something I love.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is maintaining patience throughout the journey. There are going to be times of frustration and discouragement, but if you remain patient, positive, focused, and truly believe in yourself, you will come out on the other side better.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be patient with the process. Things take time.
- Set proper expectations and goals.
- You only fail when you quit.
