What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are an event and commercial video production company located in Toronto. The bulk of our work is mainly wedding videography. Our customers range from business owners, creative directors, companies, families, and engaged couples.

Tell us about yourself

Video production has always been a passion of mine since I was a child. I remember watching the first episodes of my favorite shows, marveling at how the producers captured each scene and created a story that captivated me for hours. There was something special about telling a story through video, and I knew then that this was something I wanted to do. Seeing the expressions and hearing what others had to say inspired me to pursue video production and make it my life's work. What motivates me the most is the feeling of satisfaction I get when someone watches a video I created and loves it. That feeling of accomplishment is like no other and makes all the hard work completely worth it. With over 26 years of experience in video production, I have worked on projects with some of the most talented people in the industry. Whether producing corporate videos or creating beautiful cinematic wedding films. I approach each project with the same enthusiasm and passion. I take pride in my commitment to excellence, superior customer service, and creating an unforgettable experience for all my clients. No matter what type of project I'm working on, it's always an honor to be a part of someone's special day or have the chance to create something that can help people generate awareness and bring positive changes to the world. It's my goal to be the go-to video production expert for businesses, professionals, and couples who want a cinematic experience they'll never forget. My ability to tell stories that connect with viewers is second-to-none.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is my ability to provide clients with quality video productions that exceed their expectations. I have a knack for capturing the essence of what my clients are trying to communicate in their videos, and I am always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that each product is as perfect as possible. I am immensely proud of the success and longevity of my business. I feel my hard work and dedication are a huge part of why my clients keep coming back to me. I have built a reputable name for myself and my business, which is something that I am proud of.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is finding the right balance between making sure your business stands out while also staying true to who you are as an individual. I've taken this challenge head-on with my video production business and have successfully navigated the tricky waters of standing out from the competition while remaining true to myself and my creative vision. Keeping up with the latest industry trends can be difficult, yet I am committed to staying ahead of the curve and producing innovative work for my clients.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Believe in yourself and your ability to succeed. Sure, there will be times when it feels a bit overwhelming but know that you can do it - if you put the hard work in and believe in yourself, anything is possible.
  2. Set clear goals and objectives for what you want to achieve with your business. Make sure you focus on the steps it will take to get there and set yourself small targets along the way that you can reach as rewards.
  3. Build a strong support network around yourself. Surround yourself with people who will champion your success and provide advice, guidance, and mentorship. Don't forget to share your successes, too - it's great for the motivation factor!
