What's your business, and who are your customers?
We help small to mid-size businesses either scale-up, fix up, or start up their businesses.
Tell us about yourself
I hold a master's in Industrial Psychology and am a behavioural business strategist, coach, and change agent. I bring you a wide-ranging skillset in business operational design, planning, and execution, with significant success in leveraging the only growing capital asset a business has— its people.
With over 23 years of experience working with Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies in various industries, I focus on working closely with anyone from new entrepreneurs, business owners, CEOs, and their leadership teams.
I tend to focus on unique and enlightening perspectives as opposed to traditional practices on how to view and build your business. This is no different from my interpretation and position on financial management using unconventional methods like Profit First. As a certified advanced Profit First professional for the last several years, I have brought success to many businesses bringing about financial prosperity.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Saving and building businesses and changing lives as a result.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Always ensure you don't get in your own way and realize that business is not complex, but you are.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Fully understand the natural behaviours that drive you forward and/or keep you from making progress. If you think you know yourself, trust me, you don't.
- Understand that your business is not unique and is the easiest part of being a business owner. The complex part is you and your emotional commitment to execute and see results.
- Remember to nurture yourself first before anything or anyone else. There is a fine line between nurturing and being the victim. Stick to what you commit you'll do. If you achieve your results, nurture yourself - if not, don't use the victim card to justify why results weren't fulfilled.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Life's a journey, not a checklist.
