What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am in the business of website design & development, API development, and integration, Custom Web-based application Development & Native + Hybrid mobile app development. My customers are from various industries, including Manufacturers, Traders, Retailers, Healthcare, Finance, Fashion & Lifestyle, F&B, Hospitality, Education & Real Estate.

Tell us about yourself

I have more than 15 years of work experience in website design and development. The most important thing that motivated me to start my own business was to get engaged in various types of businesses that were limited to a certain extent in my job profile. Moreover, I always wanted to have a team of my own, as I realised, along with being a developer, I am also good at people management, training, and client servicing.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have taken my own company's brand to a level where I get regular enquiries (leads). Over time, my lead to actual sale conversion percentage has increased by many folds. So I am now very confident in new projects/client acquisition.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Keeping every part of my handcrafted company working in tandem with each other is hard, but that's what I enjoy doing. I know the fact that problems are a part of the game, and my work is to solve them. If I can do it for others (my clients), I can do it for myself, also.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Discipline, keep reminders to do those things first which require less effort, but the yield is high. Hire people based on their attitude towards learning & ownership rather than qualification alone.
