Guidance and Knowledge - Wholly Well

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Kelsey Jack, Founder of Wholly Well, located in San Antonio, TX, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is Wholly Well; I serve both men and women struggling with chronic fatigue, mood, and sleep imbalances by getting to the root cause of what's driving these issues. I do this via a hybridized approach with telehealth, structured and personalized wellness programs, holistic education, and data (various labs) that show the bigger picture. Moreover, I encourage and equip others to integrate daily, achievable integrations that help them reclaim their whole health instead of chasing symptoms.

Tell us about yourself

I am Kelsey Jack, a wife, mom, and functional nutritional therapy practitioner. I am also certified in blood chemistry and other holistic practices. I grew up on a family ranch in South Texas and have always loved being outside and riding horses. Although I love my home state, the mountains are my happy place. I enjoy weighted exercise, getting a healthy dose of vitamin D, elderflower collins, spending time with my family, and living a spontaneous life. My own struggles with fatigue, insomnia, and anxiety led me to my passion for helping clients all over the world optimize their energy and health so they can live wholly well.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Reformulating my entire business structure and how I serve my clients. I recently launched my new program to serve my clients at a new level. Partially automated and partially personalized, each client gains access to their own portal with education, resources, lab instructions, guides, tutorials, and more, while also getting to work 1-on-1 inside the program with me for 90 days. You can find out more about my approach by visiting: www.whollywell.health and the launch of my new program at: www.thewhollywellacademy.com.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Continuing to believe in your vision and mission when it seems no one is listening, showing interest, or looking, and doubting yourself. Speaking specifically on the social media side, being somewhat a digital + solopreneur is hard; showing up in tangible ways Online that continually embody your passions and knowledge on a day-to-day basis can be difficult and lonely from time to time.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Lean into your fears, trust that you probably know way more than you give yourself credit for, hire a business mentor and hire out the things you hate doing or can't do effectively if you can afford it.
