Tell us about yourself
I was personally very creative and artistic and loved being able to create edible art. Once I started experimenting, I knew this was what I wanted to do as a full-time business. I get motivation from repeat clients, therefore always getting an urge to create something new.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I think the biggest accomplishment so far is taking my passion and turning it into an actual business.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Running the business part of it, having to deal with the numbers, making sure employees are trained properly and are able to accomplish a perfect product on their own without me having to overlook every detail.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Educate yourself! There are so many free business resources, especially for a woman in business; I’ve learned so much by joining Facebook groups, following entrepreneurs on social media, etc. has helped me immensely.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Never give up! Keep on going until you reach your goal of success.
