What's your background and motivation to get into the solopreneur life?
As a child, I stayed active and was an athlete in track & field, basketball, kickball, and softball. My love of being active led me to become an AFPA Certified Personal Trainer in 2010. Not long after becoming a personal trainer, I sustained a severe injury to my right knee. I didn't realize that that injury was going to change my life completely. Life is funny; I never thought that an athlete, who was in great physical condition and always kept a positive attitude, would go through a comprehensive reform both physically and mentally. That injury limited my ability to do what I love to do when I was a child that I turned into a career now business.
I became very depressed; I found myself emotionally eating, doing nothing due to this injury. My journey helped me understand that losing weight is not just about exercising. Still, it's also about understanding the successful behaviors that lead to maintaining weight loss by addressing what keeps a person from a fantastic healthy lifestyle. Helping to change people's health, mindset, physical, and wellness lifestyle is what motivates me.
