Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Aliki Ko, Founder of warriors4elements, located in Baar, Switzerland.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We love to support conscious startups that have a mission bigger than life to make business feel like magic by helping them grow in the 4+1 fundamental areas of their business: purpose & marketing, structures & finances, people & culture, vision & tech and spiritual alignment in service of a better world.

Tell us about yourself

It was exactly three years ago when I was chosen to co-create a spiritual business conference in Davos during the World Economic Forum when I realised that all the studies of connecting spirituality and business were aiming to connect me to innovative entrepreneurs who have understood that the only way to grow and create a positive impact in the world truly is by working your inner and outer world simultaneously. Being an architect by profession, I love creating physical and virtual spaces that enable positive human behaviours. In warriors4elements, I am able to do that on a global scale, working with some of the most heart-centered founders I know and allowing them to reach their true potential. Is there a better reason to wake up with a smile every day?! (Except also living in nature and connecting daily with the elements themselves ;)

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I consider the case study of one of our warriors-Startups, Nectar Nectar NYC, one of my biggest accomplishments. Through the support of warriors4elements and 1 year of purposeful work, we managed to:

  • Create four new jewelry collections of a total of 144 pieces
  • Launch the brand in New York and Paris fashion week
  • Participate in 2 of the most respected tradeshows in Europe and the USA
  • Support the vision of 4 other women entrepreneurs to expand through the brand
  • Bring together a global team of over 30 professionals driven by the mission
  • Support financial women from over 15 organisations in India (with many more to come!)

And all of that with the big vision to support women's economic independence on a global scale. This was just the beginning, and now we are applying all the learnings into our new program launching in March that aims to create the same results that feel like magic to a bigger number of purposeful startups!! Stay tuned :)

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

People, people, people! Humans are amazing and, at the same time, can be the biggest trouble, especially in the field of multilayered transformation we are working on that brings to the surface a lot of energetic blockages, fears, and limiting beliefs. Though once overcome, the results are truly mind-blowing, worth all the effort put into the process!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start before being ready! (we are never really ready).
  2. Make sure you love what you do (it is always more difficult than it seems in the beginning).
  3. Make sure you have ways to cover your "blind spots"; we all have them, and only by growing in those uncomfortable areas are we able to create what we dream of.
