What's your business, and who are your customers?

I love to teach singing to all ages.

Tell us about yourself

I began instructing voice and piano at a local music school when I was 15 years old. The outstanding growth every kid achieves in every lesson inspires me.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My greatest professional achievement was when I trained singers from amateurs to professionals, including Paige O'Hara, who provided the voice of Belle in the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the most challenging aspects of running a business is maintaining a high standard of quality. In my instance, ensuring that the voice coaches who instruct my Vocal Power Method continue to provide top-notch instruction.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Love and passion for your product.
  2. Hire people with the same love and passion you have for your product.
  3. Reach out to people and organizations that would benefit from your product.

I had the privilege of working with Lionel Richie, Sting, Priscilla Presley, Broadway performers, and film and tv personalities.
