What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a one-stop wellness shop for people looking to find a long-term solution for health issues such as low back pain, joint pain, insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression, and any other chronic health challenges where conventional medicine has failed.

Tell us about yourself

I grew up in a small town in Sri Lanka called Hambantota. At the age of 23, I came to the USA. Seeing people who face so many health challenges here in the US and yet they continue to turn to the pharmaceutical solution was breaking my heart. I decided to take a different approach to life. Being able to bring what I've known my whole life gave me a path forward.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Purchasing my very own commercial real estate property is my biggest achievement yet. I am proud to say that I am now a landlord. I have paid my hard-earned money making other landlords rich for 17 years. But now, I am proud to pay the rent to myself and run my practice at the same time.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

It feels lonely. People don't understand the day-to-day pressure. The uncertainty is very real, and it can be scary.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Have a plan in place, and stick to your plan.
  2. Know that you don't know everything yet, learn how to keep innovating.
  3. No matter what, never quit.
