What's your business, and who are your customers?

Visibly Connected has been providing award-winning marketing for home services companies since 2010. We have made it our mission to build home services brands like HVAC Companies, Electricians, Plumbers, Roofers, Garage Door Repair Companies, Pool Maintenance & Repair Companies, and more.

Tell us about yourself

Graphite pencil was my preferred tool when I needed to exercise my creativity at an early age. I even learned I could feed my other passion (candy) by selling replicas of "Garbage Pail Kids"​ to my classmates. As I grew into a teen, real life became my inspiration, and paper was my canvas. Today, I still like to get my fingers coated with graphite every once in a while, although these days, I need to unleash my creativity in a way that can pay me more than a weekly candy run. Art is still my biggest passion. I've just started using a different tool - computers - to express it. About 10 years ago, I learned that I could use my creativity to help businesses create beautiful, clean, easy-to-use websites that are custom to their BRAND and STORY! Now our experts at Visibly Connected can help these companies market their websites through avenues such as Social Media, Newsletters, Blogs, Search Engine Optimization, and more.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

It is very hard to say, after 13 successful years, which accomplishment is the biggest. Building my team, being nominated for business of the year, and hiring my kids, would be some of the biggest. However, recently we just purchased our office and no longer paying rent! That is a very proud moment!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

As a business owner, your work never stops, so managing a work/life balance is crucial and not the easiest thing to do. Taking risks can also be the difference between the status quo and growth, but it can be challenging when you have a family.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1. Create/Join A Mastermind.
2. Network and build relationships and referral partners.
3. Continued Education.
