What's your business, and who are your customers?

We make and sell Infused Bourbons. Our customers are anyone over 21.

Tell us about yourself

I've always had "creative ideas" growing up, even more so when I became a chef. As I was growing up, my father was an entrepreneur/inventor and always said to try to meet a need or create a solution to a problem. So when I saw people in the south drinking bourbon and ginger ale, I thought, why not create something that harmonizes these flavors without adding crap to their bodies. It was really that simple. I came up with a concept and went for it. Success motivates me every day. What can I do today that can impact tomorrow is a question I ask myself every day. I want people drinking our Ginger Infused Bourbon with soda water and lime everywhere. It's really that good, and everyone should try at least one!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Starting the business. I think that is the scariest part for most people. Taking the leap and making your ideas a reality.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Keeping people motivated to do their job with pride and exceed expectations.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Believe in yourself and continue along the way, even when times are tough. Trust that you will figure things out, whatever the obstacle may be.
  2. Don't stress about where the money will come from. Build it, and they will come!
  3. Hire the right people. Even if they cost more, it's worth it.
