What's your business, and who are your customers?

PROMUNCH is a super (actually) healthy snacking brand which is revolutionizing the way people munch. It has 48% plant-based protein and is vegan, gluten-free, roasted, and non-GMO. Our customers are people who wish to stay healthy and also snack on something tasty. We've had a very wide set of consumers as it's a versatile product as your on-the-go travel snack, binge-watching munching partner, party snack, during office hours, gifting partner, etc.

Tell us about yourself

I've been a sportsman since my childhood, and during the pandemic, I was working out regularly at home while working for long hours as well, didn't have anything to munch on which was (actually) healthy and which could also complete my daily protein intake, while trying and testing a lot of products, PROMUNCH was born. A lot of trial and error made us find the right formulation, and there we were.

We talked to a lot of people and verified that there are limited options available for vegans and vegetarians to fulfill their daily protein requirements, which also inspired us to do better and come up with something which has so many uses. We strive to make people believe that taste and health can certainly go hand in hand without being boring and transforming how people can easily meet their daily protein intake so effortlessly.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

There have been a lot of small accomplishments as an entrepreneur, but the biggest, I'd say, would be to get our products available at the airports and being the preferred gifting partner for corporates.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

This is a very tricky as well as an easy question because business means hardships and hard work to make it big. You have to be innovative, willing to sacrifice, handle stress and inspire your team to do better. Show up every day and be on your toes, always.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be ambitious, dream big, plan well and execute better.
  2. Discipline, consistency, and perseverance.
  3. Never give up. Take it easy.
