What's your business, and who are your customers?
VIEW Dance Challenge is Canada's Favourite Dance Competition! We are a professional, unique and reputable International Dance Competition that proudly operates in nine Canadian provinces and three different countries. As we continue to grow globally, so is the VIEW Family. Our customers are dancers aged 4 to 21+ around the world!
Tell us about yourself
My incredible business partner, Kristen Maurice & I saw a hole in a very wonderful market. Our dream was to offer a professional, fair brand and events that are on-time and detailed down to the moment individuals first get in touch with us!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is building the VIEW Dance Challenge brand from the ground up. What was only an idea is now a reality with events worldwide. We also have cultivated a team of individuals who really want to work and believe in VIEW Dance Challenge! I am very proud of that!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
For me, it is balancing my personal life and work! Curating a healthy and balanced work-life balance is essential for all business owners to avoid burnout! (Working on it!)
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Follow your intuition ( it is always right).
- Trust is to be earned.
- Just do it!
