What's your business, and who are your customers?

VidaCeuticals Health Products is a pharmaceutical-grade nutraceutical products company where our products have gone through vigorous reviews that have attained NPNs through Health Canada. Approved processes with the clinical science that supports the efficacy of our products.

We are a nutraceutical supplements company with a mission statement to ensure that all our products, which are manufactured for the betterment of our clients, are science-based and have the data to support their efficacy.

Our Health Canada-approved products have focus on addressing the decrease in glycemic loads and inflammatory conditions while benefiting from the optimization of antioxidants to protect against the excessively damaging effects of free radicals.

Tell us about yourself

My motivator for becoming co-founder of VidaCeuticals Health Products… I was once very fit, teaching professionally, ran marathons, and did a lot of training while maintaining disciples…; however, I know today that I was not internally healthy. I found myself at the onset of my 50s, managing multiple corporations while living a family life, being overweight with moments of obesity, reaching 363 lbs., requiring a sleep apnea machine combined with medical complications, and consuming a cocktail of daily medications.

At the age of 53, after nearly two years of research, I took matters into my own hands and started living a fasting, fitness, and flexibility lifestyle, which I have not missed a day since June 3rd, 2019, and which I put into action while anecdotally experimenting our product lines on myself, where I lost over 120 pounds.

Over three years later, at the age of 56, I have never put the weight back on while building strength or maintaining abs, all while my medical conditions have disappeared and/or dissipated, simply by living a VidaCeuticals Lifestyle, a lifestyle that I have helped many in losing weight by focusing on internal health!

The focus of our product lines was to deal with glycemic load and inflammation, which we all understand today as the primary complications of the 2.6 comorbidities of COVID during the last few years, a problem that we understood through research, hence the implementation of our product line.

Although an important motivator, the motivation in becoming internally healthier opened my mind and eyes to a holistic, functional, lifestyle medicine world within a fasting, fitness & flexibility lifestyle that has inspired me to fulfill at a different level, a passion of mine, teaching…, where it is my duty to teach those that are willing to understand how they can live and achieve a long, vibrantly healthy life, a life without dependencies on medications and medical procedures…

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Evolving while learning from mistakes made along the way enabling one to manage the stresses of expanding and growing while developing wisdom through knowledge, training, and experiences.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

You can never turn it off; it's part of your lifestyle, your fabric, and your path of life, which you must learn to incorporate within the balance of your relationships with loved ones and family. To the upbringing of your children by teaching the disciplines of business ownership, management, and its protections.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Go in prepared with a business and financial plan.
  2. Evolving & pivoting is an everyday requirements within a lifetime of work.
  3. It is easy to get into business with someone. It is much harder to get out... prepare accordingly.
