Open Your Mind Institute and Foundation - Victoria Musokwah

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Victoria Musokwah, Owner of Open Your Mind Institute and Foundation, located in Marietta, GA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business learning takes place. It's a place where learning how important your thoughts and the words we speak impact the results we see in our lives. My customers are anyone from a teen to a young adult to full adulthood, male and female, who are willing to learn and apply their skills to improve the quality of their lives.

Tell us about yourself

I am in love with learning new skills and ideas that continue to change my life. Learning how important my mind fascinates me. This journey all started for me when I noticed that my life was heading in a direction I didn't see fit me. Living from paycheck to paycheck, stressed most of the time, always feeling tired. Also married and feeling alone, so in November 2019, I stumbled across a video on YouTube, and everything changed. The guy in the video was talking about how you could live any kind of life you choose just by shifting the way you think. I am motivated each day to continue because I now know that we are creators, and learning that and being able to teach others is my vision that keeps me going.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

So far, the biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been the impact that I have had on my friends and family and how I have helped to improve the quality of their lives as I also do more to impact my community.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is always marketing your business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
