What's your business, and who are your customers?
Via Luma ceramics are entirely and uniquely handmade in Bend, Oregon. Beginning with a naturally speckled clay, each piece is thrown on the wheel or hand-built, then fired, and hand painted using matte glazes. Inspired by nature and made just for you!
Tell us about yourself
Luma moved to Bend, Oregon, after 15+ years of living and working as a product designer in New York City. While studying the advanced portion of yoga training focused on meditation, the concept of combining pottery and mindfulness was born.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Every day that I am able to make and share my work is a gift and accomplishment.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Maintaining faith and confidence.
