What's your business, and who are your customers?
Colorado Wholesale Company manufactures CBD products derived from organically-cultivated hemp utilizing organic ingredients. We have a branded product line, Nectar CBD, and we also offer white-label manufacturing services for clients seeking to market their own branded product line. Our customers are all-encompassing from an age and gender perspective and include those interested in wellness and beauty.
Tell us about yourself
I am a serial entrepreneur. I love business planning and execution and have owned and managed five companies to date in various sectors. I enjoy envisioning and planning growth strategies and general management. My biggest motivation each day is my love for work and my desire to learn, improve and progress.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been my dedication to my work and my relentless work ethic. I believe that with hard work and concentrated effort, anything can be achieved. It's this mindset that keeps me focused, driven, and positive.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest aspects of being a business owner is managing the negative news, e.g., sales goals aren't met, marketing tactics didn't perform as intended, etc. All of these obstacles, however, can be overcome and improved upon and create valuable learning experiences.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
My top three tips would be to remain positive, to stay focused on your goals, and to be prepared to work harder than you ever have. Starting, running, and growing a business requires determination and the constant pursuit of your goals which should not be derailed by a bad quarter or year or upsetting circumstances. Just never give up.
