What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a Holistic health and wellness center with a large Himalayan salt cave and a small Himalayan salt room, and two treatment rooms. We offer dry salt therapy (Halotherapy), salty yoga, sound baths, guided meditation and EFT, massages, and Reiki. We also have a retail section with Himalayan salt products, crystals, jewelry, essential oils, and sanitizers.
Tell us about yourself
My wife Kari and I opened a similar business with my sister in New York in March 2018. We opened our Los Angeles location in October 2020, right in the middle of the COVID pandemic. We love helping people by providing Holistic healing services and the community that we have created in a very short period of time.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We opened our business in the middle of the Covid pandemic and are still around.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Your business is all-consuming, and there are always things to take care of, even on your days off.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have enough capital to fund the business.
- Hire great people that you connect with.
- Use the power of social media as much as possible.
