What's your business, and who are your customers?
Rn4students Education With A Twist (SHIELD) A.Nano.I is a Three Tier Company:
- Nanotechnology: The Invention and Launch of the DiaGen-NanoBot (The Cure for Type II Diabetes).
- SHIELD: Designing and implementing of electronic health record systems to solve our demanding healthcare challenges.
- Nursing: Elevating the Profession of Nursing Globally, Engaging All Nurses to Ensure Professional Success (Current Field Site Affiliation Agreement with Walden University), and Evolving the Practice of Nursing to Transform Nursing and Healthcare.
Tell us about yourself
This company was founded in 2014. I am a Health Informaticist, Nanotechnologist, and Registered Nurse with 15 years of professional clinical workflow testing/analysis, building, and testing plans with Electronic Health Record Systems. I started my business noticing a lack in the fields of Health Informatics, Nanotechnology, and Nursing. The love for what I do and for others is what motivates me each day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is motivating others so that they can create ideas and invent new technologies that can change the world in a positive manner.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest things that comes with being a business owner are Time Management, Remaining Focused on one task, and completing that task before moving on to the next one.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Create a unique idea and find your niche.
- Research the market to see if your idea is already being utilized before launching.
- Stay focused and build your company on a daily basis.
