What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is Olive and Bliss Wellness, where I offer Life and Nutrition coaching services to women. I help them stop letting people-pleasing and perfectionism get in the way of creating the life they want. I tend to attract mothers, but all who identify as women are welcome.
Tell us about yourself
I was misdiagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome in 2015. It turns out that it wasn't IBS but stress. I figured out how to simplify my life as a mother and have been helping others do that for three years. I wake up motivated every day because I love assisting women in redefining how they want to live their lives. We are worthy of taking care of ourselves no matter what.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Seeing my clients achieve goals they never thought possible, like ending toxic relationships, having boundaries, getting jobs they love, healing their relationship with food and body, etc.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest thing has been learning to think like a business owner. I have had to work on my identity in this area.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Trust that what you have to offer is valuable.
- Believe in yourself.
- Believe that there are people who want what you offer.
