What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are Twelve Tables. Twelve Tables is a consulting firm and agency. Our business strategists diagnose the issues of your business and develop a strategy for the business owners that want to see improvement. Once this strategy is created, we outsource the work to our rockstar collective, which is composed of 50+ freelancers and small businesses that are experts in their field. We create the strategy, connect you with the right people, and follow through to execution.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Taylor Precourt, and I am a nationally recognized business strategist and Founder of Twelve Tables, an agency that helps clients solve business problems by creating strategies and connecting clients with a collection of our trusted specialists. My tenacious vision and entrepreneurial powerhouse would be an understatement. My persistent mindset and over a decade of experience have landed me a number of high-profile clients in a vast number of industries, including luxury goods, construction technology, and more, where she has proven the success of her strategies.
I am very involved in philanthropy and the Tampa community, where I reside with my three children. Aside from my contributions to the gig economy and advocacy for female leaders, I was named one of the Top Women in Construction Technology and Emerging Leader of the Year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. I am the chairperson of Disrupt the Bay, a cause supporting innovative research to fight pediatric cancer. I am also chairperson of the Clearwater Downtown Partnership and an active advocate for EmpowHERment, a dedicated space promoting women's empowerment. My knack for development and producing positive change has led me to be involved in so many efforts. My desire to help others has inspired growth in many different forms, from businesses to other entrepreneurs to my employees.
Furthermore, my extroverted personality and communication skills promote free-flowing ideas between business owners and strategists, allowing me to get down to the bottom line of the strengths and weaknesses of any business. As a young entrepreneur myself, I am highly involved in advocating for radical entrepreneurship, with hopes to aid in the development of the Tampa Bay Area. I understand the amount of perseverance and dedication it takes to become a successful entrepreneur, and I want to assist others in achieving their dreams. However, I also stress the importance of time freedom for business owners.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being a chair for multiple organizations such as Disrupt the Bay and Downtown Clearwater while also being a serial entrepreneur. Figuring out time management is my greatest accomplishment!!!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Leaving time in the day for what really matters. Far too often, we become overwhelmed with the overwhelming workloads that we want to take every waking hour of the day towards a continuous hustle and grind. My family and friends mean everything to me, and often I find myself not spending the time that I want to spend with them because I want to achieve and get more than everything is done. Slowing down, batch working, and closing my computer at five o clock every day allows me to overcome that feeling of the need to hustle constantly.
