What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a business and technology consultant. My customers are businesses and entrepreneurs who strive to improve their business by hiring expert consultants who advise them on the technology they should use to be competitive in their markets and also advice to improve the functionality of their business organization.
Tell us about yourself
I have been an academic researcher for many years, and I have always been up to date on the latest business and technology developments. I also have worked as a consultant for multiple upstarting technology-based businesses and have given them the advice to help them successfully improve their business. I like the idea of helping people help themselves, and I enjoy seeing my clients succeed. In my view, their success is my success, and I do everything in my power to guarantee it.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being the sole owner of a profitable business and loving the work that I do!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
It’s tough when all the success and failures of your business ultimately fall upon you, but I thrive in this sort of environment because I love taking responsibility. I set my standards extremely high, so even if I miss the mark, it’s still technically not a failure.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Have faith, have passion, and take responsibility.
