What's your business, and who are your customers?

We organize high-end and legal psychedelic retreats for entrepreneurs and business leaders in the Netherlands.

Tell us about yourself

Since 2008 I've been working in the field of leadership coaching, and ever since, I've felt that people have such tremendous potential that they often fail to tap into. With True Nature, I want to unlock that untapped potential through psychedelics which truly are a catalyst for personal growth. Guiding ambitious growth-minded people on that journey is what gets me going day by day.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

For decades, psychedelics have wrongfully been labeled highly addictive with no therapeutic benefits. Convincing +35 entrepreneurs and business leaders to journey with us in 2022 and building a lead pipeline of +100 psychedelic enthusiasts have been major achievements for us.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

I'd say a balanced lifestyle. As an entrepreneur, there is always another task or opportunity waiting for you. Being a father of 3, I want to carve out sufficient time with my family as well. On top of that, I want to keep a healthy regime of going to the gym 3x a week.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Do what passionates you and all other projects/tasks you don't do or delegate. Work a maximum of four days a week; the other day, work out, read, go for lunch with loved ones, read. Hire for mindset, not capabilities, the latter you can build.
