What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a small 1st generation family ranch in Rexburg, Idaho, that offers some of the finest, high-end restaurant quality all-natural beef in the United States. We have been committed to humanely raising quality livestock and specialize in producing the very best all-natural, hormone and antibiotic-free beef with impeccable flavor and marbling that can't be found elsewhere. Our high expectations and standards are not only what sets our beef apart in the industry but also the unconventional yet highly effective way we finish our cattle to produce unparalleled flavor.
We run our operation on the values of honesty, integrity, and superb customer service. While areas across the United States struggle to keep meat stocked in stores and restaurants, we endeavor to create public awareness so that individuals understand they have the option to purchase their meat from exceptionally better and healthier sources than just the grocery store, and in doing so, in turn, supports a small ranching business.
We offer a wide array of products ranging from Prime Ribeye steaks, bulk beef shares, unique Triangle S swag, and even cuts for pet lovers who prefer to feed their animals a raw meat diet. With the expanse of our business, we give full control to our customers. Our new subscription packages allow customers the ability to customize their shipments regarding both the type of product they want to receive and the timeframe they want to receive it.
The industry is changing, and individuals aren't just looking for quality; they also want to know where their beef comes from and how it is raised. With us, those questions are never an issue - customers are able to confidently tell the story about their beef and have a special sense of connection with our ranch. That genuine feeling of connection among our customers is the reason why we are sharing our story and beef across the nation.
Tell us about yourself
We have always been around and involved in a variety of ranching operations most of our lives. At an early age, we both knew ranching and working with livestock was our passion equally and what we always wanted to do the rest of our lives. The struggle for us was figuring out how to own and operate our own ranch and be successful at it! After a lot of trials and error and Trevor and I figuring out what our niche was going to be, we finally got it. Back in 2000, we jumped right into it by raising and finishing all-natural high-end Angus & Angus-x beef selling direct to consumer, in turn controlling our entire market.
Waking up every morning, looking out at what we have built and continue to build, and providing a life we love, and our children love something that truly drives us every day. Knowing we are building a successful brand and legend that will pass on that we struggled with and started for generations to come. Creating a product for our customers that not only we can be proud of, but our customers are even more so. Not only that but also the continued goals and aspirations we strive for daily...all of this is what we are all about and what keeps us going every single day, good or bad!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The biggest accomplishment is taking our wild idea, building it literally from nothing, and growing it into the up-and-coming successful brand that it is becoming. Alongside that receiving nothing but 5-star reviews from our awesome and rad customers.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the toughest things as a business owner for us is expanding our business to be able to meet the needs of our customers.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Be passionate about and believe in your business. Don't be afraid to take risks. Stay committed and get out of your own way for success.
