What's your business, and who are your customers?

Collaborate with Chief Officers and Leadership Teams, with a primary focus on Education and Healthcare, to create and refine leadership development strategy, vision, and strategic plan, and develop workable implementation plans for the organization. Focus on the importance of Organizational Cultrure and employee well-being.

Partner with organizations to assess Talent & Leadership development needs and design and develop programs tailored to the organization's needs while delivering measurable outcomes. Provide guidance and oversight for compensation alignment, policy compliance, process improvement, and project management.

Facilitate learning needs assessment, assessment of intervention strategies, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the goals—conduct team-based interventions and training. Offer leadership coaching and mentoring to current and aspiring leaders. Available for Keynote Speaking for any size group.

Tell us about yourself

I am an experienced Chief Officer. I retired from a career as a school administrator to focus on leadership coaching, teaching, speaking, and adding value to people, personally and professionally.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Continue to see clients understand the importance of personal well-being and prioritize this in their lives. This has created opportunities for a healthier professional life for the clients that translates into a more engaged and satisfied employee. This has a direct impact on the organizational culture.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

  • Client Acquisition
  • Operations of the business... marketing, website updates, managing the finances. It is challenging to do the work of coaching, training, and speaking because I spend a lot of time in business operations. All of this has an impact on the ability to find clients.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Have a well-thought-out plan. Then be prepared to revise it. See if you can obtain some financial support for the business start-up, so you don't have to have this hanging over you while you focus. Have a niche to focus your product in.
