What's your business, and who are your customers?
TranquilSOULutions, LLC is my business. My clients, although predominantly coaches, come from all walks of life, seeking a deeper meaning in life, which results in decreased stress and awareness.
Tell us about yourself
What first got me started was attempting to figure out what to do productively and create income for my life after the divorce. Having left a nursing career to raise my daughters, I was seeking something new and felt a calling. It's since expanded & unfolded in many directions, all leading me down the same path, healing!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Wow! Many! My biggest accomplishment, I feel, was presenting at a Creativity conference in Sth Africa and making a difference for the educational system there after hearing the year prior what their challenges were. I came back the next year, presented, and shifted perceptions and ways of thinking. Seeing so many people on different levels of education received so much was amazing.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Often for myself, it's the showing up each day, even when I feel like playing. I shift the work time into playtime, which no longer has it feel 'hard.'
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Know your Why! What drives you? It will allow you to awaken each day and jump out of bed!
- Don't allow others to dissuade you from doing what you love doing. You'll never feel like you're working a day in your life.
- Persistence is key. Be in the Now, trust your intuition, and be relatable to your clients. Get into their worlds... it's like watering your garden and watching it bloom! Don't give up on your Dream!
