What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our organization provides financial literacy to individuals (teenagers to seniors). It educates, equips, and empowers people to reclaim control over their financial health and build wealth.
Tell us about yourself
I studied business at university and worked in human resources for years. Money and people were thus integral elements of my career, and I found great pleasure in contributing to others. Over the course of the pandemic, I noticed a growing need for financial insights as well as mindset training. Given my extensive personal growth journey, I had the tools to address the mindset demand of the market. Hence, I found a platform that could fulfill the financial literacy request in all its emerging segments.
As a result, we had a comprehensive package to present, implement, and sustain the information so many longed for. Having the ability to fulfill these market demands certainly inspires me to pursue, yet most of all, its equity. The equality and accessibility of our package are what beats my HR heart. Enabling wealth building for all and making it available to every interested being is the most gratifying feeling of all.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Having a female participant set a monthly income goal that was 5x more than her usual earnings and seeing her achieving it in 14 days! Needless to say, she quickly revised and increased her goal. Pushing the limits of what's possible and seeing those we serve to do the same is the ultimate accomplishment.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
When launching a business and being a solopreneur, wearing the sales rep hat as well as the general manager can be challenging since they require a different focus and approach. Nevertheless, the adaptability it requires is wonderful preparation for the entrepreneurial journey.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Get a mentor to support you through the moment of doubt & hardships.
- Leverage an existing system. Why start from scratch when often something already exists and simply needs you to make it better.
- Be patient. Not all your efforts will be immediately rewarded, yet truly know they are being recorded. In due time, you will receive your inflow of success!
