Your Passion Into a Thriving Business - Tools For Coaches
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Sharon Kinnier, Director of Tools For Coaches, located in Savannah, GA, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help women coaches get out of their heads and get back into the game. Sometimes we just need to hear it in a different voice.
Tell us about yourself
I first started coaching completely by accident. My friend was working on a project and had mapped out so detailed that she couldn't find her way out. I sat down with her and remapped the project to be more concise and with fewer steps to the win. This kept happening, and I realized that I needed to get paid for these skills.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner was when I was able to take my husband on a dream vacation, all expenses paid by me.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Time management is always an issue. It is something that I keep in front of me at all times because I can so easily chase the shiny objects.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- You really need to be passionate about what you're doing.
- Be patient and compassionate with yourself.
- Never give up.
