What's your business, and who are your customers?

TitanRConsulting is dedicated to helping students and working professionals advance to the next level of their Career/Educational pursuits. We aim to guide and connect young professionals and students all over the world to their next career/academic advancement opportunity. We help guide them in telling their stories more effectively, identifying opportunities for growth, and learning how to connect their past to their future.

Tell us about yourself

I'm Tomilola Abiodun, the Lead Consultant and Founder of TitanRConsulting. I'm passionate about advancing people to the next level of academic and professional success. TitanR's mission is to provide young professionals and students with the resources and tools they need to succeed and make the most of the next opportunity that comes their way. They say that information is power, and we want to make sure that we close the information gap and give as many people as possible access to resources that will help them excel. TitanRConsulting was founded on my desire to help others accelerate their success and avoid making the same mistakes I did.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Our Admissions services have helped many students gain admission to top graduate school programs with significant scholarships. We have currently assisted students in obtaining more than $5 million in scholarships.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the most difficult things for me is giving up control. It is impractical for a business owner to do everything themselves, so it can be difficult to strike a balance between what to delegate and what to handle themselves.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Do as much research as you can on your ideal customer/target audience, use social media as much as possible, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and don't be afraid to ask for help.
