What's your business, and who are your customers?
We offer Elevated Self Care for Mind, Body, and Soul. Providing Holistic Healing, Chakra Work, Specialized Yoga, Sound Baths, Meditation, Massage, and even Spiritual Mentorship. We offer our services to Kids, Adults, Families, and Couples.
Tell us about yourself
Growing up, my mother owned a dance studio, so movement has been an important part of my life both mentally & physically since I was a child. I continued to dance throughout college, but after school, I tried to find new ways to tap into that grace and peace I found in Ballet. I had tried yoga on and off for years, but it wasn’t until about 2014 that something clicked, and I realized I couldn’t live without practicing yoga. I fell in love with the way my body felt afterward, the way my mind felt the rest of the day and the way my heart felt the more that I practiced. I was incredibly inspired by the flow of Vinyasa, and in recent years have come to love and appreciate the spiritual & meditative practice as well. This is how I came to understand the importance of addressing both mind & body when it comes to overall wellness.
After the COVID quarantine, there was (and continues to be) a huge rise in both children and adults suffering from anxiety, depression, and PTSD. As a society, we have become so used to being sick and simply medicating the symptoms and not healing from within. Studies have shown tremendous improvement when treatment includes traditional therapy coupled with holistic healing, such as breath work, yoga, and meditation. We have seen the immediate need for a center that can help people go from sickness to wellness and make that wellness long-lasting with ongoing resources for mental & physical health. Not only that but also incorporating spiritual and holistic health options has shown to provide patients with life long health and wellness success.
Here at Holistic Healing & Crystals, we want to provide the Strongsville community with a one-stop therapeutic option to treat trauma, anxiety, and other psychological conditions plaguing society right now. Our wellness options can be combined and personalized for the individual so they can learn ongoing techniques to improve their conditions rather than mask them. We provide ongoing classes, workshops, nutritional advice, and functional wellness support to stay happy & healthy. This support includes ongoing healing services for physical, emotional & overall wellness through traditional therapy, yoga, functional medicine, meditation, and ancient healing practices. We truly aim to make a difference!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The business reviews from our amazing clients! The feedback has been over the top rewarding and has just been further validation that these services and place for community and like-minded spiritual people is much needed right now.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Balancing the creative aspect of creating new programs, classes, and workshops and then the business side of things. It definitely takes a team!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don’t question yourself- forge forward with your vision and stay true to what lights you up within your heart. This light will attract people in droves.
- The people you surround yourself with are so important. Hire employees who share your values and vision for growth.
- Don’t be afraid to try things and pivot if they don’t resonate! Roadblocks are simply an opportunity to get creative.
