What's your business, and who are your customers?

We own cleaning companies. Our customers are residential homeowners, and we do a few offices. We have the best cleaners in the business, and we guarantee our work, so we stand behind what we say we will provide.

Tell us about yourself

I became an entrepreneur several years ago. I wanted to be the boss, lol. What motivates me every day is having the financial freedom to do what I love. I have a great life with my partner and have a lot of fun!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

We have grown our business from one small cleaning company to three. Our revenues are now over a million dollars per year!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

This job can be pretty much 24/7. Also, there can be some pretty major things that can go wrong.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Try to stay as calm as possible during stressful times.
  2. Do not get yourself in over your head financially.
  3. Be very good to your staff, treat them well, and that includes how much you pay them. Do not be cheap, your employees are everything. They can make or break your business.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Being a business owner is a high-risk, high-reward way to make a living. If you have the personality for it, it can be a great way of life as far as financial freedom to enjoy the things you love!
