What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help children thrive in our current school systems- wherever in the world. Many parents have asked me about the success tips of the Singaporean education system and how we are always highly ranked in the PISA (Global Competence Test). Parents also underestimate the impact of their influence on their child's overall development and learning.

I guide, coach, and mentor parents by getting into the trenches with them. By sharing my experiences of what I observe in students at schools, I help parents avoid making common mistakes others have made that can influence their children's mental health and intellectual development. This, in turn, can help their children to THRIVE AT SCHOOLS.

Tell us about yourself

I am currently a Primary School teacher, and I've observed firsthand how parental involvements greatly influence a child's learning and overall development. Many people undermine the impact of their words and actions on their children.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I've been able to reach out and work with people from all over the world (educators from Taiwan, Australia, and China, students from India, Singapore, and the Philippines, and pediatricians from the Philippines and the UK, etc.)

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The work is never complete. There's just so much to be done! But when you get Thank-You messages from clients and watch the impact you've had on them (and their parents), you know it's all worth it.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do something you truly BELIEVE in and is bloody-passionate about.
  2. Don't chase the money; leave a legacy instead.
  3. Leave the world a better place than when you came into it.
