What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business includes events, both corporate and weddings. Customers vary from big businesses to small and from small local wedding clients to large destination clients! The variety keeps it so interesting, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Tell us about yourself
I am motivated each day by my work---I absolutely LOVE the clients that I get to work with and get inspired by their visions and everything they invest in their events, whether it's their wedding or corporate gathering. At the end of the day, I'm just so passionate about what I do and doing what I love!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment that I'm proud of would be getting featured on the cover of a magazine for the VERY FIRST styled shoot that I planned, styled, and coordinated entirely on my own.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things is definitely managing people, both that who work for me and vendors that I hire or especially that my clients hire. Each day a new lesson is learned, though, and I'm enjoying navigating each step of the development process.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
I would say give yourself credit for taking this scary leap. You've made it this far!! Trust your gut.. If something doesn't feel right, there's a reason for it. And lastly: GO FOR IT! Life is too short not to pursue your dreams.
