What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is Thoughtful Inspirations, where I create tools that mompreneurs can use to contribute to their families, overcome their doubts, and build the business of their dreams. My customers are creative SAHM mompreneurs and bonus moms.
Tell us about yourself
If you ask any one of my childhood friends, they would tell you that I've always been this inspirational business entrepreneur. What got me officially working on my business was when I chose to try another career path that just didn't fit. That woke me up to realize that being a motivational mompreneur is who I am. What motivates me each day is seeing my client's passion and progress. As a Dream Builder, I love to see my clients build their dreams.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is having Brian Tracy endorse my latest book. He wrote me a handwritten letter about my book and endorsed it. It was a dream come true that such an amazing mentor in my industry would take the time to do that. I will never forget it.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The stamina and feeling burnt out. Entrepreneurship is one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. It requires that you grow, develop, and keep up.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do not despise the day of small beginnings. Keep learning, adjusting, and growing.
- Test, test, test. Just because something didn't work doesn't mean it's a failure.
- Your biggest mentors are your audience. Learn your client, master your client, and serve your client with all you've got.
