What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a professional speaker and Interpersonal and Public Communication Specialist. My focus is on coaching entrepreneurs, business leaders, and managers in developing a professional presence. Self-awareness and mastery are hallmarks of my work.
Tell us about yourself
I love coaching and teaching my clients the tools and strategies that enhance professional and personal presence. I'm excited when I observe the knowing look in their eyes, the aha moment when they get it. The feeling of gratitude when they are inspired by their own wisdom!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I am grateful to have worked diligently to obtain the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional), the highest earned designation conferred by the National Speakers Association and the Global Federation of Speakers. Fewer than 12% of speakers worldwide have obtained this honor.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things about being a business owner is that you are responsible for everything in your business. You are the business as you are to be true to yourself, authentic, and inspired by your work. Securing clients who want to do business with you is a challenge. Marketing is a challenge. Referral business is appreciated.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Know yourself, know what you want, and know how you can serve others. Then with that knowledge, build your business authentically, and master the art of communicating your truth.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Being an entrepreneur requires going within to think beyond. When you grow yourself, you grow your business. Self-mastery is critical in being successful, disciplined, and inspired by your work. When you love what you do, it's a joy.
