What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Virgin Hair Fantasy is a customer service-focused business that provides clients with top-of-the-line authentic Virgin Human Hair perucas, which are commonly known as wigs. Our customers are busy professional women and moms.

Tell us about yourself

I'm actually a Chef for over 20 years. My wife got me into the hair business, and we have never looked back since 2010. My family motivates me. People that I know are watching; they motivate me. The fact that I want more out of life motivates me.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Creating pieces and services that cater to some very high-profile clients. Also, creating a life where I get to be with my family every day, never missing important dates.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Everything depends on you. No one is coming to save you. You must go out and get every single penny and make it work, or it will work for you.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Make sure you are creating a business around doing what you love every day, so it doesn't feel like a job.
  2. Have separate accounts for biz and personal.
  3. Consistency is better than taking small steps every now and then.
