Interested in starting your entrepreneurial journey in business & personal development, but not sure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Gabriel Rosentall, founder and CEO of Rosentall Coaching, located in Vancouver, BC. Canada.
Tell us all about your business...
As a systemic coach, I work with entrepreneurs and their teams to increase efficiencies, productivity, and overall results. I've worked with over 500 clients in the past ten years and delivered 3000 hours of coaching.
What's your background and motivation to grow as a solopreneur?
I started training to become a coach ten years ago after I was a coaching client first. Back then, I was running my real estate business and wanted to become more productive. After having several sessions with an executive coach, I was hooked by the coaching process and wanted to learn more. Then I 'accidentally' met my future mentor and master coach, whom I started to train. I'm passionate about each client's progress, and witnessing their work is the ultimate motivation.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My most significant accomplishments are building several businesses from scratch, developing people and working with teams, creating new products, and communicating with clients from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and industries.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a solopreneur?
Self-discipline, because nobody tells you what to do and when to do it. Managing your time and resources represents both great freedom and responsibility at the same time.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run or grow a small business today?
Firstly, you must be passionate about your business and your products to create a thriving culture and customers who love your brand and your products. Then, it would be best if you made a wide range of expectations regarding how your business will develop. It would be best if you accepted that both succeeding and failing scenarios, slow months or even years, bottlenecks are all likely to happen. Last but not least, you must go all-in, put extreme focus on your work and deflect any possible distractions.
