What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Stretch Therapists Inc. certifies fitness & wellness professionals in the Performance Stretch System. It is a floor-based assisted stretching program whereby the therapist stretches their clients!

Tell us about yourself

As a competitive athlete, I sustained a number of injuries. After taking time off to research & study recovery from industry experts, I finally found the perfect mix of treatments and exercises to get me stronger than ever before. This gratitude propelled me to share and help others gain control of their life again. I had built a team surrounding the same philosophy whose goal is to give you the life you deserve.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I take pride in building a community of 400 members of my program in only two years from all over the world. And in creating a brand that is becoming recognized internationally.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The biggest challenge comes in hiring and training the right people for the job!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Listen to your gut. Everyone will offer advice, and while coming with good intentions, they rarely know what is best for your business. Stay informed, and stay in touch with yourself.
  2. Be willing to do the things others in your industry are too afraid or lazy, or complacent to do. Sometimes that includes doing "free work" in order to build your credibility and grow your brand. It is something I still do to this day because building that relationship is more lucrative than the dollar sign. You'll see as your credibility grows, so does your rate/bank account.
  3. The focus is creating an unbelievable product and forging real relationships with your customers. Make them feel seen, recognized, and valued.
