Tell us about yourself
I’ve been an entrepreneur for more than 27 years; ever since I was a little girl, I knew that this was my destiny. I’ve always wanted to be my own boss into things on my own terms. What motivates me to be who I am in business is knowing that what I’m doing is making a difference in the lives of others.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is when I retired from government and went into business full-time; that allowed me to have a different lifestyle and not be tied to a 9 to 5; I’m now able to be here for my daughters and spend time with them create memories and do things that I absolutely love.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things to do as a business owner is to find balance; what I’ve learned is that you have to actually take your time seriously and make time for self-care and family time.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The three tips that I would give to any entrepreneur are to learn your business, be an expert in your business, and always be willing to go the extra mile.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
The She-EO Unlimited has created an ecosystem for women in business so we can engage, educate and empower them to have sustainable businesses for years to come.
