What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm a successful entrepreneur, business coach, and speaker who began my career in Atlanta, GA, founding my first business at age 21. I currently oversee multiple businesses and serve as a Business Coach, Consultant, Public Speaker, Recruiter, Real Estate Agent, and Operating Principal and Owner for Cyberbacker in Southern Ohio and Kentucky. Cyberbacker is the leading provider of world-class administrative support and virtual assistant services from anywhere in the world to anyone in the world.
Tell us about yourself
It is my mission to help more people see the possibilities of business ownership and to support the growth of business leaders. I love to work with business leaders to identify strategies to grow their businesses and improve their work-life balance. I work to succeed by helping individuals identify the gap between where they are and where they want to be and by teaching core business strategies that lead to long-term business success!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is seen in my team's tremendous culture and success and the contribution we make each day to business leaders. Through a truly great system of leverage, I have been able to build multiple businesses and connect various industries into a strong network of business clients and relationships. I have an extensive background of success creating sales teams across various industries, as well as implementing operational efficiencies and driving recruiting success in and out of real estate. I have consulted with dozens of business owners and entrepreneurs regarding their business strategies, systems, technology, hiring, and training to assist in creating a future of success and profitability. In addition to real estate agent licenses in Georgia and Ohio, I also hold certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Balancing priorities between growing the business and a quality home life is always challenging for any business owner.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Focus on the one thing that makes results happen, and everything else gets easier. For most business owners, this is lead generation.
- Culture starts at the top. Love on your people, recognize their unique abilities and challenge them to see bigger possibilities for themselves, and they will always be loyal.
- Know your numbers and hold yourself accountable to them. Lead with revenue, build profit first, improve conversion metrics and attrition rates, and review your P & L at least monthly.
