What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Salt Suite PGA is a salt therapy facility where people of all ages can Breathe Easy™ by simply relaxing and breathing salty air. Our halogenerators (Halos is the Greek word for Salt) grind pharma-grade NACL into micro-particles which fill our adult relaxation room and our family playroom for a 45-minute session to relieve congestion, clear the airways and relax the body.

Another salty option is a salt booth for treatment in 10 minutes. Our clients may have asthma, allergies, COPD, or suffer regular sinus or ear infections. Others need relaxation from stress and poor sleep patterns. We offer a second therapy called BEMER, a PEMF technology using magnetic pulse to improve blood circulation.

Tell us about yourself

I opened the very first franchise location of The Salt Suite, offering salt therapy for children and adults. After 25 years of working in corporate America, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and began a healing journey that would lead to a transformation of my personal and professional goals, opening a wellness center in 2015 to help others in our community who are told pharmaceutical drugs and surgeries are the only solutions.

I am  motivated by clients who have had life-changing improvements to their health by using natural, effective treatments and avoiding the side effects of toxic drugs and surgeries--which often do not work

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Helping thousands in our community live fuller lives and celebrating our 7th anniversary in September 2022!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

A business is like a child, we pour ourselves into it and never stop nurturing and bragging about it! Even after seven years, it's kind of an obsession ;-).

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Make sure you want to BE it every day.
  2. Surround yourself with people you like and have skills you do not have.
  3. Listen to everything, but make decisions from your intuition and values.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

The Salt Suite has 4 locations in Palm Beach County, 1 in St. Pete, 1 in NC, 2 in NJ, and Chicago is opening soon. We are a growing franchise and need entrepreneurs to open more--everywhere!
