What's your business, and who are your customers?

Open Flame Grilled Peri Peri Cuisine. The Bird's Eye Chili is the star ingredient of our signature blends, giving our food a burst of fresh and irresistible twists like you've never tasted before! We bring you the same Peri-Peri that made its way to the world from the Portuguese city of Porto across the Atlantic Ocean to entice the American taste buds. We took the same Peri Peri and added a new dimension to it with our secret blends that take our food's taste to a whole new level!

Tell us about yourself

My name is Syed Pasha; I am the founder, President & CEO of The Port of Peri Peri, a chain of restaurants with headquarters in Villa Park, Illinois. I started this in August of 2017 and have over 25 locations in 8 states and growing.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

To mass-produce the proprietary spices and get the company FDD approved in all states.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

To find people who will believe in your vision and follow instructions.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Work hard, delay vacations, do not complain.
