What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a Certified Nutritionist, and I work with those who want to optimize their health through functional nutrition, looking for "root cause." I also run online courses such as my "10 Day Detox", 14 Day Metabolism Re-set," and "Hope 4 Cancer Recovery" courses.

Tell us about yourself

What brought me into the field of nutrition was when my husband has diagnosed with stage III cancer at the age of 38 years old. Two years of treatment left him a mess. We worked with a Clinical Nutritionist to restore his health (he's still here, 78yrs old!), and that was what sparked my interest in nutrition.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I've created an online business over the last five years as we traveled full-time in our RV and after COVID.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Staying up to date on all the technology as I've aged has been challenging.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Get clear on what type of business you want. Brick and mortar, online, courses, one-on-ones?? Hire a business coach to start your business correctly. Realize it takes time to create an income stream, and you will have good months and bad months, but persevere because it's worth it if you are doing what you love.
