Crystal Clear Path for Your Business - The Nadine Daff Project

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Nadine Daff, founder of The Nadine Daff Project, located in Toronto, ON, Canada.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a brand designer, business coach & artist. I not only create boho-like visual branding but help female business owners develop their business plans to get out of the 9-5.

Tell us about yourself

This isn't just about building a business. This is about leaving a legacy to make an impact. As a woman who grew up in a third-world country where men dominate the entrepreneur industry, I wanted to empower women to 'run their own show.'

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being internationally published as an artist.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Not taking things personally. Remember, it's just business; it's NOT personal. If you post content on your social media & it's not well-received, that's not a reflection of you. That's a reflection of something in your business not working. So stop taking it personally because that will break any sort of momentum you're growing.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Reverse engineer your goals (think about what you want to accomplish & work backward from there)
  2. When you're starting out, focus all your tasks on income-generating activities
  3. Perfection is a sign of insecurity... if you're waiting on something to be absolutely perfect, then what's really happening is that there's an insecurity that's not being addressed.
