What's your business, and who are your customers?
The Money Dream Machine | Coaching First-time Business Owners. “You have a Dream Business idea. I help you make it your Reality” I save my clients time, money, and potential disaster as they begin their first foray into entrepreneurship. Many people have a dream business in mind – just waiting for the timing and inspiration to be right to make it a reality. I suggest that now, with the help of the Money Dream Machine program, is always the right time.
By implementing my program, clients are saved from making the common mistakes first-time entrepreneurs make -- saving them the time, money, and painful lessons that come with those mistakes.
Tell us about yourself
I was born and raised in sunny Cape Town, SA, and the entrepreneur bug bit me hard at an early age. Overall, the idea of being able to be my own boss, call my own shots, and leave my own mark in this world was something that I became dedicated to. Shortly after moving to Canada from South Africa in the late 80s, I made my goal a reality. The day-to-day challenge and satisfaction of entrepreneurship continually bring my spirit to life. Helping people get the best start on their dream business drives me – every single day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment has been seeing the look of gratitude in my clients’ eyes when they realize what they have saved by implementing the Money Dream Machine Program.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing about running my own business is realizing “the buck stops here.” I am my own boss – so any accolades or criticisms ultimately fall on me – there is nowhere else to spread the credit or the blame. It is exciting, daunting – and energizing -- every day. When you run your own business, there is no place to hide – and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Research and understand your market.
- Know what your competition is doing.
- Determine how you will be a unique fit – and stick to your plan.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Nothing compares with the flexibility and satisfaction I get as an entrepreneur sharing my life’s lessons with those who are eager to learn. In the end, nothing makes me happier than supporting business professionals in achieving their entrepreneurial goals.
